“No Doubt Reunites for Vegas Residency in 2026”

Date:

No Doubt is set to reunite for a string of shows at the Las Vegas Sphere in May 2026, marking the ska-punk band’s first residency in more than ten years. This will also be the venue’s initial woman-fronted performance since its establishment in 2023.

Frontwoman Gwen Stefani expressed her excitement about the opportunity to perform at the Sphere, highlighting the venue’s uniqueness and modernity that will provide a fresh visual platform for their creativity. Stefani mentioned that reuniting with No Doubt feels like revisiting the past while crafting something innovative beyond their imagination.

The news of the reunion was teased on the Sphere’s Instagram account, showcasing an image of the venue illuminated to resemble an orange, possibly a nod to the band’s “Tragic Kingdom” album artwork and Stefani’s roots in Orange County, California. No Doubt later confirmed the announcement with a post revealing the band members as the orange peeled away.

The band will play six nights at the Sphere on May 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, and 16. Presale tickets will be available starting Wednesday at 10 a.m. PT for fans who sign up on the group’s official website, with remaining tickets on sale from October 17 at 10 a.m. PT.

Fans have long awaited a reunion tour following No Doubt’s dynamic performance at Coachella last year, their first since 2015. Despite Stefani mentioning in 2016 that a reunion seemed improbable due to musical differences and personal challenges, the band also reunited for a performance in January this year at the FireAid fundraiser in Los Angeles.

In a 2024 interview with NME, Stefani expressed optimism about collaborating with bandmates Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and Adrian Young again in the future, emphasizing the need for the right timing that aligns with everyone’s schedules and the effort it takes to prepare for a No Doubt project. No Doubt’s previous residency, “Seven Night Stand,” occurred in Los Angeles in 2012.

The Sphere, a prominent entertainment venue boasting a seating capacity of 17,500 and a price tag of $2.3 billion, has hosted various renowned artists and shows such as U2, the Backstreet Boys, the Eagles, and an AI-infused rendition of “The Wizard of Oz.”

While the Sphere has attracted numerous big names, it has yet to feature a woman-fronted musical act. Despite speculations about artists like Beyoncé or Taylor Swift breaking this pattern, the venue organizers dismissed such possibilities. James Dolan, CEO of Sphere Entertainment, mentioned that they have a vast roster of artists lined up, indicating that hosting such acts was not part of their current plans.

When asked about the potential future inclusion of these artists, Dolan humorously suggested building another Sphere for them to perform in if needed.
