Rapper and singer mgk is set to headline the halftime show at the 112th Grey Cup, according to an announcement from the CFL. The artist, formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly, has a discography that includes seven studio albums. His 2020 album, “Tickets to my Downfall,” achieved double platinum status in the United States. Recently, he released his latest album, “Lost Americana,” in August.
The kickoff show for the event will be headlined by Our Lady Peace, a band known for their success in Canada during the 1990s with albums like “Naveed” and “Clumsy.” Additionally, Catie St. Germain, a country singer from Niverville, Manitoba, will perform the national anthem.
This year’s Grey Cup is scheduled to take place on November 16 in Winnipeg. Last year, the Jonas Brothers headlined the halftime show at the Grey Cup held in Vancouver.
