Celine Dion, in a post on X, conveyed her condolences and admiration for Bryson, highlighting his role in their duet for “Beauty and the Beast.” The song, written by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, won two Grammy Awards and two Academy Awards.
Born in South Carolina, Bryson collaborated with various artists, including Minnie Riperton and Natalie Cole. His music journey began in 1975 with “Do It With Feeling,” leading to chart-topping success in the 1980s and ’90s with songs like “Tonight, I Celebrate My Love” and “Can You Stop the Rain.”
In 2018, Bryson released his first album in 11 years, “Stand for Love,” followed by “Grace” in February 2022. Apart from music, he showcased his talents in stage productions and successfully recovered from a heart attack in 2019.
