Top German Military Official Falls Victim to Phishing Scam
Even the leader of the German military’s Cyber and Information Domain Service (CIR) faced phishing attempts in his personal email account. Vice-Admiral Thomas Daum disclosed deleting three obvious phishing emails recently. Despite his expertise, Daum emphasized the ongoing cybersecurity challenges faced by Germany and its allies due to escalating cyber threats from countries like Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea.
