Date:

Over 100 individuals, accompanied by children and pets, sought shelter in the basement of a community hall for the second consecutive night as tornado warnings illuminated their phones on Saturday night. Chris Stewart shared with CBC News during an interview on Sunday morning that he was having dinner in Aquadeo, Sask., when the fire alarm sounded once again. Aquadeo, situated 40 kilometers north of the Battlefords on Jackfish Lake, became the gathering point for these concerned residents. Stewart mentioned that despite initial fears among some children, everyone remained composed as they congregated in the hall’s basement, with more than 100 people present on both occasions.
