The teams will face off during halftime of the Buffalo Bills’ upcoming home game against the New England Patriots at Highmark Stadium. The match will run for eight minutes and will mark the first meeting of international women’s flag football teams on an NFL field. This event comes ahead of flag football’s inclusion in the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.

Canada recently secured a silver medal at the 2025 IFAF Continental championship in Panama after claiming bronze at the 2025 World Games in China.
