Drake has now surpassed Michael Jackson as the leading solo male artist with the most No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. His latest track, “Janice STFU,” debuted at the top of the chart this week after releasing a trilogy of albums.
This milestone brings Drake’s total No. 1 hits to 14, putting him on par with Taylor Swift and Rihanna for the most chart-toppers among all artists. Only Mariah Carey, with 19, and The Beatles, with 20, have achieved more No. 1 singles.
Additionally, Drake made history by placing 42 songs on the Hot 100 chart in a single week, surpassing Morgan Wallen’s previous record of 37 set in 2025. The cover of Drake’s new album, “Iceman,” pays homage to Michael Jackson with a rhinestone-studded glove reminiscent of the late pop icon’s signature accessory.
In a remarkable feat, Drake secured the top three positions on Billboard’s top 200 album chart with his trilogy of albums: “Iceman,” “Habibti,” and “Maid of Honour.” These albums mark Drake’s first solo projects since his public feud with Kendrick Lamar in 2024, with references to their rivalry embedded in several tracks.
The release of “Iceman” followed nearly a year of anticipation, during which Drake teased the project through various public spectacles, including a massive ice-block installation in a downtown Toronto parking lot. On May 15, Drake illuminated Toronto’s CN Tower in an icy-blue hue to kick off the album release before surprising fans with the other two albums.
