“Health Canada Recalls Zwilling Kettles Due to Burn Risk”

Date:

A safety concern has prompted Health Canada to recall several Zwilling electric kettles. The affected products include Zwilling Efinigy Kettle and Efinigy Kettle Pro models with a 1.5-liter capacity. Approximately 43,963 units of these kettles were sold in Canada from February 2020 to February 2026.

The recall was initiated due to a risk of burn injuries stemming from the handle of the kettle potentially loosening or breaking off while in use. Health Canada highlighted the possibility of hot water spilling from the kettle, raising the risk of scalding injuries to users and bystanders, including children.

As of May 13, 2026, the company has received 21 incident reports and one potential injury associated with the affected kettles in Canada. Health Canada advised consumers to discontinue the use of these kettles immediately and provided instructions on how to register for a refund on their website.

To obtain more details or assistance, consumers can reach out to Zwilling directly. Health Canada also encourages individuals encountering safety concerns with the product to report such incidents through their official channels.
