The show, created by Jacob Tierney, has gained immense popularity recently, with its captivating moments widely shared on platforms like TikTok. Starring Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie as top NHL competitors Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, the series delves into their off-ice relationship.
The steamy adaptation on Crave marked its highest viewership for an original series debut in the first week, although specific viewership figures were not disclosed. The season’s conclusion is scheduled for release on December 26, with the direction of the upcoming season undisclosed. Based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers book series, Heated Rivalry has secured new distribution agreements in various regions outside North America, such as Sky in New Zealand and Movistar Plus+ in Spain.
