Josh Hartnett Injured in St. John’s Car Crash

Actor Josh Hartnett was recently involved in a car accident in St. John’s, N.L., as reported by CBC News. The incident occurred when the SUV he was traveling in collided with a Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) patrol vehicle. Hartnett, who was filming a show for Netflix in the city, was on his way home from the set when the accident happened.

The collision took place at the intersection of New Cove Road and Elizabeth Avenue around 1 a.m., according to a press release issued by the RNC on Sept. 25. Hartnett, accompanied by a 59-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment. The police officer involved also received medical attention as a precautionary measure.

Authorities are currently seeking witnesses and any footage of the crash to aid in their investigation. Hartnett is part of the cast for the upcoming Netflix series tentatively titled “Untitled Netflix Newfoundland Series,” which revolves around a fisherman defending his community from a sea creature in a remote town. The show features other notable actors like Charlie Heaton from “Stranger Things” and Mackenzie Davis from “Speak No Evil.”
