Yoplait has initiated a recall of several yogurt products in Canada due to concerns about potential plastic contamination. The company stated that a packaging component flaw could lead to plastic entering their drinkable yogurts, prompting the proactive recall. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is overseeing the recall, which applies to all varieties of Yoplait’s 200 milliliter YOP drinkable yogurt with best before dates between Oct. 21, 2025, and Jan. 12, 2026. Yoplait emphasized its collaboration with Canadian food authorities and retail partners to prevent the consumption of the affected products, underscoring their commitment to prioritizing the health and safety of consumers.
