June Squibb, nominated for her role in “Marjorie Prime,” now holds the record for the oldest Tony-nominated actor, surpassing Lois Smith. Similarly, Danny Burstein made history with his ninth Tony nomination for his performance in “Marjorie Prime,” breaking the previous record held by Jason Robards. Noteworthy nominations also include Daniel Radcliffe for his role in “Every Brilliant Thing.”
The best play revival category boasts acclaimed works such as “Every Brilliant Thing,” “Death of a Salesman,” and “Oedipus.” Actors like John Lithgow and Rose Byrne are among the nominees, with the possibility of adding another Tony Award to their accolades.
