Set in 1940s Saskatchewan, Wild People Quiet follows Florence, a Métis woman concealing her identity in a predominantly white community. Encountering Métis farm workers forces her to confront her past and make life-altering decisions.

Tara Gereaux, a member of the Métis Nation-Saskatchewan, resides in Regina and is known for her works Saltus and Size of a Fist, both recognized by the Saskatchewan Book Awards.
