The CFIA advised consumers who have purchased these items to either dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase and refrain from consuming them.
As of now, there have been no reported cases of illness associated with these products, according to the CFIA.
Common symptoms of an E. coli infection may include nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, and diarrhea, which can be bloody or watery. In severe cases, such infections can result in complications like strokes, seizures, kidney issues, or even fatality, warned the CFIA.
If individuals suspect they might have become sick after consuming any of the recalled microgreens, they are advised to seek medical assistance, as per the agency.
