They secured a bronze medal by defeating Italy’s Stefania Constantini and Amos Mosaner with a commanding score of 11-3. This achievement marked Canada’s first medal at the championship since 2019. Colton Lott, who previously won a silver medal at the men’s worlds, added another international medal to his accolades for the 2025-26 season.

Kadriana Lott expressed her joy in sharing this success with her partner, emphasizing their desire to continue competing on global stages. She highlighted the significance of these moments in their lives and expressed pride in their performance. The Canadian team showcased strong scoring abilities during the match, securing two four-enders and one three-ender.

Colton Lott mentioned that this momentum set the tone for the match, as they capitalized on their opponent’s mistakes throughout the game.

The turning point occurred in the sixth end when Canada utilized their power play to secure four points, leading to Italy conceding the final two ends of the contest. In the gold-medal match, Australia’s Tahli Gill and Dean Hewitt emerged victorious against Sweden’s Therese Westman and Robin Ahlberg with a score of 8-4.
